Automobile and
truck owners with larger engines can easily find out if their vehicle
can use lower grade fuel by conducting a simple test:
Install Two
Super FuelMAX units on gasoline engines over 3 liters in size. (See
installation instructions at: www.maxinstall.com
then take these steps:
1.
When the fuel tank is nearly empty only buy one/ quarter of a
tank of lower grade gasoline than is usually used in the vehicle.
|
2.
Then drive the vehicle until it is nearly empty again.
3. Listen
for a possible “pinging” sound when accelerating. If there is no
difference in performance continue saving lots of money buying low
cost, lower octane gasoline. Most engines, equipped with 2 Super
FuelMAX units, will run fine with lower grade fuel. These owners will
get a double savings; Lower cost fuel savings and the ability to
travel up to 27% greater distances using lower octane gasoline.
|
4.
If “pinging” should occur immediately fill the vehicle with
the highest-octane gasoline. Continued “pinging” usually indicates
that particular engine requires high-octane gasoline.
Those customers will still receive savings with an increase in
mileage which is still a very substantial cost savings.
